Tonya Winders. MBA is currently the President and acting Chief Executive Officer of the Global Allergy & Airways Patient Platform, the global voice representing the one billion people living with atopic & airways diseases & the more than 200-member patient advocacy organizations in GAAPP.  

Tonya has over 25 years' experience in leadership roles within the allergy and asthma industry in both for profit & nonprofit sectors. She serves on several expert panels including the GINA international guidelines & has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. Tonya Winders is a paid speaker and advisor for AstraZeneca, Chiesi, Eli Lilly, GSK, Novartis, Roche,  & Sanofi Regeneron. Furthermore, she is on the board of directors for We CU & serves in local ministry roles. 

Personally, Tonya is the mother of five children, four of whom have asthma and/or allergies.  She is also the caregiver for her parents who live with COPD. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 29 years Brian and doting on her grandchildren.
